Statement of Enlightenment Regarding Processing of Personal Data
Smartcon Dış Ticaret Pazarlama ve Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi (“Smartcon”) shows the necessary care to your personal data. This statement aims to inform you about our processing activities within the scope of article 10 of the Turkish Law on Protection of Personal Data (“Law”).
Personal data types being collected and collection method
If you purchase a product or service from Smartcon, communicate with Smartcon’s authorised persons or employees regarding such a purchase, or Smartcon purchases a product or service from you, Smartcon may process your name, surname, contact information (phone number and email address) and financial information. Personal data may be collected in written, verbal or electronic environments.
Purposes of processing personal data
We process personal data in accordance with article 5 of the Law: to provide products or services; to obtain products or services from you; to perform Smartcon’s contractual liabilities under relevant agreements; to perform Smartcon’s legal liabilities; and for possible legitimate purposes of Smartcon.
Third parties to which personal data may be transferred
When required for the purposes above, we may transfer personal data to business partners, suppliers and customers in Turkey or abroad, or to authorised institutions, in accordance with articles 8 and 9 of the Law.
Legal cause of processing personal data
Personal data is processed on legal grounds stated in the Law, including where processing is required by law, for the execution or performance of a contract, or for legitimate purposes of Smartcon.
Rights of data subjects
To exercise the rights below, submit a written request to info@smartcongroup.com. Smartcon will review the request and respond within a maximum of 30 days.

- To request information if personal data is processed.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with that purpose.
- To know the third parties to which personal data is transferred domestically or abroad.
- To request correction where personal data is processed incorrectly or incompletely, and notification of that correction to relevant third parties.
- To request deletion or disposal of personal data where applicable.
- To object to an outcome against the interest of the data subject arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems.
- To request compensation for damage incurred due to unlawful processing.
